Kid-Pan-Alley friend and mentor - Paul Reisler

Kid Pan Alley
Walt Lofstrom, creator of Song-CAMP has attended numerous Song-writing workshops and has been greatly inspired by his friend and mentor, Paul Reisler - the founder and artistic creator of Kid Pan Alley. Although Song-CAMP is a completely separate and much different venue than Kid Pan Alley, both projects inspire children's creativity through the art of music. The Kid Pan Alley website is included here as an example of another very successful children's music venue.

Hear NPR's Renee Montagne interview of KPA/Paul Reisler on NPR's Morning Edition
This is a terrific 7 minute interview showing the kind of thing that's being done by a group like Song-CAMP or KidPanAlley .... "Morning Edition, March 27, 2007 - For some musicians, good songwriting is elementary. For others it's elementary school. "
